The Trip Home was GREAT!

Okay.. so this is the second time now i'm writing this, because the last time Korey's computer froze up and it lost it all. I am having the worst luck ever.

Well Korey and I had a great visit home. Sorry I haven't wrote in awhile, but I know most of you got to see me this past weekend and that just makes up for everything! haha. Well the last time I wrote this before it got deleted, I wrote everything we did while we were home... I'll try and sum it up again.

We left Wed. night right after work and drove 3 hours through some bad traffic to get to the airport to fly home. Korey's dad picked us up around midnight when our plane landed and we headed home. We got home around 3 a.m. after stopping for some food. Thursday morning I woke up to Courtney calling me and texting me ... telling me to get my butt over to the house. She told me to "hurry up and to not even worry about showering." I did shower but I tried to hurry and Korey and I headed over to see my family. We played Apples to Apples which is a REALLY FUN game! (I ended up buying it this weekend). Everyone played which made it great! (dad usually doesn't play games). So then after the game we ate our Thanksgiving lunch/dinner and just kind of hung out together aftewards. Korey went home to his house a little later on for the evening and I stayed at home and had a girls night with Courtney. It was nice to be home again! Friday morning I went to get my hair cut and highlighted. I hadn't done anything to my hair since the summer. I hate going to new people when it comes to my hair and I don't want to go to someone else when I finally found someone who does my hair perfect! I told Kristy (my hairdresser who happens to have my same name and spells it with a K also! haha) that I would have to make a special trip home again next time I needed my hair done. After my hair I went with my family to Long John Silvers because we don't have one of those here believe it or not, and I kind of missed it! Then I went to the scrapbook nook, and on a hunt to find Apples to Apples before visiting with Grandma. Next, I had to hurry home to go to Korey's grandmas to meet him there for another Thanksgiving meal. It was a nice visit with his relatives, we ate and watched the Polar Express. Then Korey and I went to my house to put up the Christmas tree, and after that we hung out with all our friends for the night. It was really good seeing everyone, it kind of stinks that we dont' get to see them that often now that we've moved. Every time Korey and I go out on the weekends I tell him everyone how much I miss my friends and I wish they were here! Saturday morning Korey and I ate brunch with Sarah and Betsy and then we went to see Sarah's new puppy Jake. He's adorable. He'll have to meet Bella some time. After puppy visiting Korey and I went to say goodbye to my family one last time before we left to go to his other grandparents for the night. We drove down and had another Turkey meal with Korey's relatives and hung out with them for the night. It was another good visit with family. The next morning we woke up and headed to the airport to fly back here. The plane ride was okay, it just kinda of stunk that we had to switch planes for such a short flight. Once we got back here... everything went wrong it seemed...

We were not able to pick Bella up last night because we got in to late and that made us both upset/unhappy. Korey's car was not fixed while we were gone so I had to get up super early today to drive him to school before I went to work. (His car is still not fixed, but at least i found a ride for tomorrow and will only have to get up 30 min. early instead of 2 hours early). Then to top that all off, my computer decided to not start when I turned it on and it still does not work as of right now. I must have bad luck following me around as Korey said a few minutes ago when I made his computer freeze up and had to start typing this all over again for a second time!

But anyway... I survived my long day of running around in the morning, and not really getting home for good until after 7. Korey has a test tomorrow and then he pretty much has the rest of the week where he doesn't have to do too much until his real school starts on Monday. I still like my job so its okay that the kids drive me nuts and wear me out!

Now that Thanksgiving is over, I am looking forward to our Disney Trip in December. I am sooo excited. I LOVE Disney World, and this is the first time my family has gone in awhile... so I keep trying to get them excited about it! But I think this is enough writing for now. Sorry if I bored you with all the details of my trip home and my complaining about my bad luck. Hope my bad luck doesn't rub off on anyone!
