TGIF

I don't really have a lot to write about today. Korey and I did make breakfast sandwiches with our new toaster today which was kind of exciting, believe it or not haha. I love our toaster because it makes eggs and can heat sausage or any other kind of meat and it makes toast. It's great for breakfast sandwiches because you can make all parts of the sandwich using the toaster and all the ingredients are ready at the same time! Okay...enough about our toaster. Korey and i decided to ride our bikes over to the beach today. We had to go park the car somewhere a littler closer because we can't really ride all the way from our apartment there. It was fun riding the bikes over, but we couldnt' take all the stuff we normally do, like our chairs and extra towels. We had to fit everything into a backpack that Korey could wear over while riding his bike. After the beach we came back and I went to the gym here. I'm actually pretty proud of myself when it comes to exercise lately. There is only one day this week I haven't did some type of exercise. I've gone to the gym, rode the bike, swam laps, and ran. Hopefully after I get a job I'll be able to keep it up! Tonight Korey and I rented a movie and watched it on the new TV. We watched the Sentinel. It was pretty good. Well I guess that is enough of my boring life for tonight. I'll have to take some more pictures this weekend to post. For now I figured everyone was getting sick of looking at pictures of the beach. Korey and I are thinking of venturing into town tomorrow for dinner and to walk around so I'll try and take some pictures while we are there.

You Are 24% Evil

A bit of evil lurks in your heart, but you hide it well.
In some ways, you are the most dangerous kind of evil.

Bad Luck Day

Today started out okay. I got to sleep in and I woke up to find a movie I had wanted to rent on TV so I watched it and then got out of bed. I relaxed on the couch for awhile while Korey studied some and then I decided to go make some lunch. While i was cutting apples with my apple peeler corer thingy i sliced my thumb pretty good, and that's where the bad luck seemed to begin. Although it did kind of start last night when I dropped the plate of corn I had just made on the floor, but anyhow... Lunch turned out good after I got a band-aid on my finger. So i enjoyed lunch and Korey and I finished watching Elizabethtown which we had started watching the other night and then stopped when Korey fell asleep. After the movie I decided I would make some cookies. As I was checking the cookies I accidentally bumped my hand on the top of the oven and I burnt my finger! I swear my finger was actually stuck to the top of the oven and I had to rip it off. anyhow.. so now i had a cut up thumb and a burnt pinky finger that hurt like heck! So while we were eating cookies, I convinced Korey to play a game of Life with me- he won of course. Then we watched some TV and Korey studied some more until I bugged him enough that he went to the pool to swim some laps with me. It was a good work out but I don't have goggles here and my eyes are all blurry from the chlorine now. Right now I am watching Smallville on our new TV that I love, and after Smallville I will be watching Supernatural and ER. It is a fun TV filled night haha! Tomorrow we are hoping to finish up the living room and bedroom, and then ride our bikes over to the beach near us. Hopefully the weather and everythign else will cooperate!

A week goes by fast

Well we've been here for a week now. It's hard to believe a week has already gone by. We still have not made it to check out the new beach. Yesterday we were all ready to go check it out, we were in the car and had our stuff, but then the movers called. They were coming with our stuff right then, so we had to come back to the apartment and get it ready for all of our stuff, and then we had to spend the rest of the evening unpacking. We did manage to go for a run last night, and we saw 3 deer in the little tiny strip of trees that goes around our apartment complex. It would almost feel like we were back home in the woods if you couldn't see all the cars whizzing by on the other side of them. It's still warm here- in the 80's almost every day. I think we are attempting to check out the beach again today, we'll see if that really happens though! The movers coming was kind of a good thing, we no longer have to sleep on an air mattress and we actually have stuff to make food now, but they did somehow lose our table top in the whole process of moving, so we're stuck eating in the living room still. Well hopefully we are off to the beach soon. I'll keep you updated if we ever made it or not haha!

Steelers and the Beach

I was busy last night and didn't get a chance to write anything. Yesterday's plan was originally to go check out a new beach and spend the whole day there, but then Korey remembered the Steeler game was on in the afternoon, so the beach plans were quickly forgotten. After realizing that the game would not be on regular tv down here, Korey began his search to find the Steeler bar he had heard about around here. He found one and we decided to go check it out for the game. It's funny how you can know absolutely noone in a place, but the fact that you're all Steeler fans can make you friends. Even though the game didn't go the way we wanted, it was a fun time watching it at the bar. After the game we did make it to the beach. We decided to take Bella this time since we wouldn't be there too long. She loved the beach. The first thing she did when we got there was poop in the sand, which I had to go clean up unfortunately. After that, she ran around on the beach and went right into the water. It was a fun time. When we got home we had to give her a bath though because she was all wet and had clumps of sand in her fur. At the end of the day I had to finish filling out applications which sucked because it took forever! I turned them in today and hopefully I'll hear something back. If I don't even get one of the five jobs I applied for then I think I'll be depressed!!! Well I think we're off to a different beach today after lunch so I'm going to go eat.

We have a couch!

Today was another relaxing day. This morning Korey and I watched some Smallville episodes. We have to finish the 5th season before next Thursday when the new season starts. This afternoon our couch arrived and so now our living room is starting to take some shape. Now that the couch is here, I guess it means that Korey and I will have to move the air matress to the bedroom and stop sleeping in the living room haha. I took some pictures of the couch and living room as it looks so far. Hopefully when the movers get here and we have all our stuff we can actually feel like this is our home. After the couch arrived, Korey and I headed over to the beach. It was nice and warm out today and the beach was fun. Then tonight we went out to dinner and checked out the gym at our place. Tomorrow I want to go to the gym again but the Steeler game is on in the afternoon so we'll see what happens...

We Made It

We survived the trip! We left on Tuesday the 19th and stopped at my cousins house for the night. It was a nice stop, but I wish we could've stayed a little longer. We got up early the next day and met one of our friends in Richmond for some good old McDonald's breakfast food, and then we got on the road again. We made it to our apartment around 5 o'clock and checked in. Moving all the stuff kinda sucked because
we have an upstairs apartment. We got everything out of the cars eventually and went to do some shopping. We got a couch and chair that night, but we could only fit the chair in the car so we called somebody to move the couch in for us, and it will be arriving today!. I'm so glad I do not have to help move the couch up here because the chair was hard enough to carry!! Shopping has been a ton of fun. I really like all the stuff we bought for the bathroom. I think it is my favorite room so far haha. It's hard to arrange too much stuff in here yet because the movers haven't brought all our stuff we sent with them, which means we have no bed, kitchen table, dresser, kitchen supplies, and more. I posted a few pictures this time. One of Bella crawling through our stuff before we moved and the other two are of the bathroom and the living room. I'll post more as we get more stuff and get everything organized.

And we're off...

Today was the last full day in good old B-ville before the move. I went to the daycare one last time and ran around doing some last minutes errands. I got to eat dinner with my parents and grandma and then I came home to watch the Steeler game which was disappointing. Right now Korey is packing up last minute stuff and then hopefully I can finally go to bed since we have to get up early tomorrow morning to begin our journey. We're driving in seperate cars now, which will be good and bad. Bad because we're both going to have to drive the whole time, but Good because we can listen to our own music haha. I took some pictures today while we were packing up stuff, but Korey packed the camera dock so I'll have to load the pictures and add them later. This will be my last entry probably until Friday or later since we won't have cable or the internet until then. Wish us luck on our trip and moving in to our new home.

More Good-Byes

Today was another busy and good-bye filled day. Korey and I had lunch with Kody, Kelly, and Courtney in the forest and then we packed up some more stuff. For dinner, I thought Korey and I were going out to a nice dinner together (because that's what he told me), but he surprised me with a dinner with our families. It was a really nice surprise. I didn't get suspicious until we pulled into the parking lot and there were two of his families cars there, but then i thought we were only eating with his family... so I was pleasantly surprised when both our familes were there and waiting for us. Saying good-bye to Courtney afterwards though was hard. She had to go back to school tonight and stayed late just to go eat with us and say good-bye. One more day and off we go...

Packing Up and Moving On

Today was the second day in a row of good byes. I'm really starting to hate them. Yesterday we said good bye to the whole IUP gang, and today we said good bye to Lisa, Korey's Aunt, Uncle and cousin, and to a bunch of my cousins and relatives who were in town. Two more days to go until we leave. I think it is finally starting to him me that we're really going away to be on our own. At least we're moving somewhere warmer where it is still in the 80's and the beach is only 5 minutes away. Every one just better keep their promise about visiting us!
