Nice and Warm

Okay... I find it very crazy that it is almost December and it was 79 degrees out today! Korey and I took Bella to the beach tonight and it was fun to be there at night when it was nice and quiet and there was hardly anyone there at all. Bella enjoyed running around in the sand. I walked over to the gym tonight in a short sleeve shirt and shorts and I wasn't even cold, in fact I think I got some bug bites! I do not miss cold weather at all! haha Other than that nothing too exciting has happened. KOrey's car is still not fixed, and my computer is still broken. I'm getting super excited about Disney! I don't really have too much to write on here. Korey did great on his last test he had the other day which is good! I'm going to actually go now and get ready to watch the best show in the world ONE TREE HILL! I don't know what i'm going to do when they go on their Christmas break. But korey and I did start watching episodes of LOST that we got from Blockbuster so I guess I'll just have to watch that! Talk to you later :)

The Trip Home was GREAT!

Okay.. so this is the second time now i'm writing this, because the last time Korey's computer froze up and it lost it all. I am having the worst luck ever.

Well Korey and I had a great visit home. Sorry I haven't wrote in awhile, but I know most of you got to see me this past weekend and that just makes up for everything! haha. Well the last time I wrote this before it got deleted, I wrote everything we did while we were home... I'll try and sum it up again.

We left Wed. night right after work and drove 3 hours through some bad traffic to get to the airport to fly home. Korey's dad picked us up around midnight when our plane landed and we headed home. We got home around 3 a.m. after stopping for some food. Thursday morning I woke up to Courtney calling me and texting me ... telling me to get my butt over to the house. She told me to "hurry up and to not even worry about showering." I did shower but I tried to hurry and Korey and I headed over to see my family. We played Apples to Apples which is a REALLY FUN game! (I ended up buying it this weekend). Everyone played which made it great! (dad usually doesn't play games). So then after the game we ate our Thanksgiving lunch/dinner and just kind of hung out together aftewards. Korey went home to his house a little later on for the evening and I stayed at home and had a girls night with Courtney. It was nice to be home again! Friday morning I went to get my hair cut and highlighted. I hadn't done anything to my hair since the summer. I hate going to new people when it comes to my hair and I don't want to go to someone else when I finally found someone who does my hair perfect! I told Kristy (my hairdresser who happens to have my same name and spells it with a K also! haha) that I would have to make a special trip home again next time I needed my hair done. After my hair I went with my family to Long John Silvers because we don't have one of those here believe it or not, and I kind of missed it! Then I went to the scrapbook nook, and on a hunt to find Apples to Apples before visiting with Grandma. Next, I had to hurry home to go to Korey's grandmas to meet him there for another Thanksgiving meal. It was a nice visit with his relatives, we ate and watched the Polar Express. Then Korey and I went to my house to put up the Christmas tree, and after that we hung out with all our friends for the night. It was really good seeing everyone, it kind of stinks that we dont' get to see them that often now that we've moved. Every time Korey and I go out on the weekends I tell him everyone how much I miss my friends and I wish they were here! Saturday morning Korey and I ate brunch with Sarah and Betsy and then we went to see Sarah's new puppy Jake. He's adorable. He'll have to meet Bella some time. After puppy visiting Korey and I went to say goodbye to my family one last time before we left to go to his other grandparents for the night. We drove down and had another Turkey meal with Korey's relatives and hung out with them for the night. It was another good visit with family. The next morning we woke up and headed to the airport to fly back here. The plane ride was okay, it just kinda of stunk that we had to switch planes for such a short flight. Once we got back here... everything went wrong it seemed...

We were not able to pick Bella up last night because we got in to late and that made us both upset/unhappy. Korey's car was not fixed while we were gone so I had to get up super early today to drive him to school before I went to work. (His car is still not fixed, but at least i found a ride for tomorrow and will only have to get up 30 min. early instead of 2 hours early). Then to top that all off, my computer decided to not start when I turned it on and it still does not work as of right now. I must have bad luck following me around as Korey said a few minutes ago when I made his computer freeze up and had to start typing this all over again for a second time!

But anyway... I survived my long day of running around in the morning, and not really getting home for good until after 7. Korey has a test tomorrow and then he pretty much has the rest of the week where he doesn't have to do too much until his real school starts on Monday. I still like my job so its okay that the kids drive me nuts and wear me out!

Now that Thanksgiving is over, I am looking forward to our Disney Trip in December. I am sooo excited. I LOVE Disney World, and this is the first time my family has gone in awhile... so I keep trying to get them excited about it! But I think this is enough writing for now. Sorry if I bored you with all the details of my trip home and my complaining about my bad luck. Hope my bad luck doesn't rub off on anyone!

I'm boring... Sorry!

So its been almost a week since I wrote last. My life hasn't been all that exciting sorry, I didn't really have anything new to write about. I got up went to work, the kids were crazy and wore me out, I came home went to the gym, made some food, ate it, watched some tv, and then passed out. That was basically every day this week haha. Wednesday I had a rough morning, I slept in 15 minutes, and then couldn't find my keys and barely made it to school on time. Then today I had to go to a new employee orientation that was from 8-1 and pretty boring, and confusing. Then I went into school afterwards and worked 'til 4. We got mail today from Lisa which was exciting! :)
Korey gets home from school pretty late, usually after 7 which kind of sucks because then we eat, and he usually tries to go to bed by 10. I'm glad I'm here with him, but it kind of stinks being together, but not really being able to spend much time together. I really look forward to the weekends and I'm soooo glad that tomorrow is Friday. We don't really have any big plans for the weekend. Korey had mentioned going bowling at one point, and I still really want to go on our free carriage ride but we'll see. Every weekend we plan to do something, stuff just always seems to happen to mess up our plans! Less than a week until we go home, I'm so excited to see everyone! It kind of stinks that we won't be there long. WE have thursday and Friday in bville, then we have to travel to korey's grandparents house on Saturday, and then flying back here on Sunday. Well I guess thats enough rambling. Sorry that nothing more exciting has happened. Although I went to two different walmarts today and saw people camped out literally with tents up waiting to go get a new playstation.. now thats CRAZY! HAHA

Relaxing Weekend and Good Books

This weekend was nice and relaxing and of course went too fast! Friday night we went to see Stranger Than Fiction with some of Korey's friends, it was good! Saturday I slept in of course :) and then went for a run in the early afternoon. It was pretty warm out and it was a nice run! Then Korey and I went to the outlets because Korey needed some new basketball shoes. He found some people to play basketball with on the base and he was all excited. We found some new shoes, I bought another book :) and also a Christmas present for someone! Saturday night we went to eat at Longhorn Steakhouse with another of Korey's friends and his friends girlfriend who was visiting. It was a good dinner and afterwards we went to his friends house to hang out and watch a movie. Today is just a lazy Sunday. We went to the grocery store and Walmart and now we're relaxing watching the Steeler game... and yes surprisingly we can actually sort of relax watching it right now since they are ahead by 14 pts. now they just need to keep it that way! Back to school tomorrow... which is okay... I just really enjoy my weekends haha.

Now for the books part. I have been reading books by Jodi Picoult lately. They are AMAZING! The first book I read was My Sisters Keeper! I loved it and immediately gave it to my mom to read and she also enjoyed it. I decided I would try another one of her books and I picked The Pact to be my second Jodi Picoult book to read. It was also AMAZING! The stories are so good and the characters so real. I cannot put the books down and generally finish them within a week which is usually difficult for me to do since I'm going to work all day and then going to the gym, making dinner, eating, watching some tv at night, and more. But with her books I just cannot stop reading and I take the books with me wherever I go. This weekend I bought another one of her books Vanishing Act, and I've already started it. So those of you who read this and are looking for some good books... Go read these books, or you can ask to borrow mine! I like to share good books with friends :)

I hope all is well with everyone else, and I'm sure I'll have more to write within the week. We'll be home soon!

Where Should I Spend My Summer?

You Should Spend Your Summer at the Beach

You're a free spirit who is always thinking of new ways to have fun.
And you don't just love summer... you live for it.
So, you really should blow off your responsibilities and head to the beach!

Days off are nice!

I didn't have to work today. It was election day and there was no school. It was nice sleeping in during the week again. I didn't sleep in too late though :) I actually did some stuff today too! I cleaned up our apartment, I made dinner (which only consisted of putting a roast in the crock pot.. but that's still making dinner!) I entertained the pup and I went to the gym. When Korey got home we had to go pick up his car from being looked at, and then we came home and relaxed. Korey seems to not hate his classes so far so that's good. Nothing to exciting has happened lately except Bella got out again on Sunday and this time she was BAD! She broke a glass and ate at least 5 candy bars and got crumbs everywhere. She didn't get sick Sunday night, but Monday when I got home from work she puked up two candybar wrappers.. NOT FUN! Everything is okay now and she seems fine... I just have to make sure her den is closed when we leave! haha Hope all is well with everyone else. Tomorros is Hump Day! The weekend will be here before we know it haha.

I love weekends!

So I noticed I haven't wrote in a few days... Sorry! We did not get any trick or treaters here on Halloween. Kind of sad, If I lived in an apartment complex and I was a child, I'd be in Heaven going around to everyones door, but oh well.. more candy for Korey and I. Thursday was my first day of work with all the kids. I'm still enjoying the job, one week in. The kids are crazy though and some of them are slower to learn, but I knew that coming in to this program so it's okay. I really like the teacher I work with, and I just hope I keep enjoying the job. Friday was Korey and I's 8 year anniversary from when we started dating so Korey surprised me and booked a dinner cruise for us to go on. It was fun and the food was good! Today we went shopping and ate at Red Lobster! :) Now we are watching movies of course! Bella has been recovering from her surgery well. Funny story about Bella... the other day when we got home from the dinner cruise Bella greeted us at the door. I did not think this was strange at first, and then all of a sudden it hit me.. why is bella out of her den? We put her in her den every time we go somewhere and she was definitely in there when we left. One of us must not have latched it right though and she got out. Nothing was chewed up and she didn't go to the bathroom in the house though, so we were happy. She was sitting on the chair when we came home and jumped off to meet us at the door. Now she is watching the movie we are watching very intently haha. We're watching 8 Below and I think she enjoys watching the dogs on the movie!
Before I go I just want to say a BIG THANK YOU to the people who keep our mailbox full with letters. Courtney I think you write us every day or something haha.. j/k but thank you so much for all the mail. Also a thank you to Lisa who has written several letters! Its fun to get mail! :) We started hanging our cards we get on the wall, it makes us feel like we're missed! Hope everyone has a great weekend!
