Relaxing Weekend and Good Books

This weekend was nice and relaxing and of course went too fast! Friday night we went to see Stranger Than Fiction with some of Korey's friends, it was good! Saturday I slept in of course :) and then went for a run in the early afternoon. It was pretty warm out and it was a nice run! Then Korey and I went to the outlets because Korey needed some new basketball shoes. He found some people to play basketball with on the base and he was all excited. We found some new shoes, I bought another book :) and also a Christmas present for someone! Saturday night we went to eat at Longhorn Steakhouse with another of Korey's friends and his friends girlfriend who was visiting. It was a good dinner and afterwards we went to his friends house to hang out and watch a movie. Today is just a lazy Sunday. We went to the grocery store and Walmart and now we're relaxing watching the Steeler game... and yes surprisingly we can actually sort of relax watching it right now since they are ahead by 14 pts. now they just need to keep it that way! Back to school tomorrow... which is okay... I just really enjoy my weekends haha.

Now for the books part. I have been reading books by Jodi Picoult lately. They are AMAZING! The first book I read was My Sisters Keeper! I loved it and immediately gave it to my mom to read and she also enjoyed it. I decided I would try another one of her books and I picked The Pact to be my second Jodi Picoult book to read. It was also AMAZING! The stories are so good and the characters so real. I cannot put the books down and generally finish them within a week which is usually difficult for me to do since I'm going to work all day and then going to the gym, making dinner, eating, watching some tv at night, and more. But with her books I just cannot stop reading and I take the books with me wherever I go. This weekend I bought another one of her books Vanishing Act, and I've already started it. So those of you who read this and are looking for some good books... Go read these books, or you can ask to borrow mine! I like to share good books with friends :)

I hope all is well with everyone else, and I'm sure I'll have more to write within the week. We'll be home soon!
