Too many shows!!

So it's great that all the new shows have started for the season, but I've discovered I watch way too many haha. I was trying to figure out what was on tonight to watch... and realized there are 3 shows I watch on Thursday's at 9. Thank goodness for Tivo! So i did not get to watch Grey's... as much as that upset Lisa! :) But I promised I'd watch it tomorrow. It's sad when my plans for my nights revolve around Tv! It's so cold here already though.. I don't want to go out and do anything! Not that there seems to be much to do anyway! Korey is probably going to be at work again this weekend.. Definitely on Saturday... so who knows what we'll get to do this weekend. The blinds guy is coming on Saturday though so we can get some blinds installed in the living room! We have huge windows but they look out on a road and at night you can see in... so we need to fix that!
I think I'll post some pictures of the empty apartment now, and I'll try and remember to take some this weekend of the apartment now that its got our stuff.. just in case anyone was wondering what it looks like...
Hope everyone has a fun weekend!

Apparently I wouldn't make such a good 1930's wife... good thing its not the 1930's haha

You Would Make an Okay 1930's Wife

You have some of the attributes of an ideal 1930's wife... but you probably didn't intend it to be that way.

You don't buy into retro gender roles, though you do embrace your femininity at times.

A 1930's man may find you passable, but you probably wouldn't want anything to do with him.

It's Freaking Cold Already!

It's sooooo cold! Now I know why I LOVED living in the South :) So far I've already gotten a cold from the kids at work that won't go away, and it's freezing out. All the people here are excited though because they are ready to go skiing... but I am not excited... it is only September!! Now it has not snowed yet... and I'm hoping that doesn't happen for awhile, but it's kind of scary to hear people talking about skiing already. Especially when I am definitely not so good at skiing. I would not be sad if I never went again. I am a beach person :)
Korey and I actually got around to hanging some pictures in the apartment the other day. We discovered we need a lot more! There is so much more room and wall space in this apartment! I want to put some pictures up of the empty apartment and then some with our stuff in it, but I haven't taken any pictures of it since we've gotten our stuff in. I'll have to do that soon! I need to start taking more pictures again. Most of my pictures lately have been of the dogs! Chloe is getting really big. Everyone is shocked when they see the latest picture I have of Chloe and Bella together. It's funny. I know she's bigger but I see her everyday so I don't get as surprised as other people!
Tonight Korey and I tried a new restaurant downtown. There are a lot of them so we're trying out all the different ones. It was pretty good. I had a Ceasar Salad with steak tips. I would get it again. Tomorrow we're on a mission to find a place to watch the Steeler game. Wish us luck!

Maine...

So... I haven't wrote anything in a LONG.... LONG... time! But that's okay since only a few people read this anyway :) I'll have to send out an email letting people know I'm back! Anyway... I think the last time I wrote I was in Virginia. Even though I didn't like it much there, I don't think Maine is much better. So far Maine kind of sucks. I think the Navy made a mistake sending me to SC first. Now everywhere I go I compare to Charleston. Nothing has even come close yet. Virginia Beach was too touristy and just not my kind of place. Don't get me wrong... I LOVE the beach... but the beach just wasn't enough. The Isle of Palms beach in Charleston was just perfect. It had a few shops, but it wasn't overly touristy like Virginia Beach. But anyway... now we're in Maine. The beaches here are kind of lacking! There is gray sand and lots of gunk on the beach, and instead of sea shells there are rocks! I guess I should give it more of a chance. I mean I am here for the next two years. But a girl can still dream that some day I'll be back in the South!
I do have a job here so Korey is happy there is more money and I guess it keeps me busy during the day. Although I didn't mind not being busy when we were living in Virginia Beach :). My jobs seems okay so far. It's a job... The people seem nice though, and I enjoy working with the kids. They are younger than I am used to, but I'm hoping everything will all work out.
Our apartment is bigger than we're used to so we're trying to fill it up with stuff and decorate so it looks more like a home. We never really got settled in down in Virginia. The last real place that felt like home was Charleston because we got to at least stay there for a year.
Well enough for now... I promise to try and write more :) Maybe it will keep a few people entertained and keep me sane!
